On Tuesday we are going to have a pancake lunch to help recognize and celebrate Shrove Tuesday. This is the day before the official start to our Easter journey. Thanks to the Social Committee for organizing!
We will also be having a staff dress down day in support of one of our families that are going through a difficult time. Ali has already sent out a message and I know that many of you have already donated to the cause. If you have donated and if you would like to donate, you are invited to participate in our Dress Down Day.
Our Faith Team has a number of things planned to help us with our own personal Lenten Journey this year. They have also come up with some charities for our school community to support based on our Catholic Graduate Expectations. Here is a breakdown of what our team is planning:

- Faith Friday's for staff during the Lenten season. Our first FF is this Friday morning at 8AM. Please join us.
These initiatives are:
- The Shepard's of Good Hope
- Water Purifiers for Indigenous Communities in Canada's North. Providing safe and clean water for those who do not have it in our own country.
- Adam's Dream - Adam Kasyiwa is a Social Worker who works at Notre Dame High School. He was one of the panellists at Christian Community Day and his mission is to build a Children's Centre in Uganda that is a safe place to learn and play. Here is a link to the website: Kasuku Children’s Centre
During the Lenten season, the Faith Mentor Team will be hosting and leading a few Faith Fridays.
Faith Fridays are a time set aside for any interested St. Jerome staff to gather for 10 minutes in the morning as a school community in prayer.
When?: Our first one will take place: Friday, February 28th @ 8:00 am
Where?: Staff room
